About Assinder Turnham

Launched on 1st May 2000 from our offices in the business quarter of the south west regional capital cathedral city of Exeter by long term colleagues Mark Assinder and Steve Turnham (Chartered Building Surveyors), the practice has gone from strength to strength. Mark and Steve (with 20 and 30 years experience respectively) pride themselves on being niche operators able to offer a highly professional service with in-depth local knowledge to a variety of clients, both large and small, in both private and public sectors. Whilst our client list includes the likes of Vodafone, we also act, at the other end of the scale, for numerous private individuals and investors.

Although the practice was only founded relatively recently, many of our client relationships can be traced very much further back in time - a number of our clients having first instructed us during the 1980's. Our Surveyors have wide ranging and comprehensive experience (Steve Turnham was previously south west regional office manager for a major national multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy and Mark Assinder was senior regional building surveyor with that consultancy).

As a small private practice in a commercial world increasingly dominated by ever larger consultancy companies who perhaps value client satisfaction less highly, we consider ourselves high calibre people able to offer a highly professional and perhaps unusually personal service.
